At Halstead Life Church, we believe standing firm in a shifting world starts with deep roots planted early. We are committed to raising disciples who stand on the Word, walk in the Spirit, live as family, and build God’s Kingdom boldly — and that calling includes our children.
In HLC Kids, children are:

Nursery
A safe and loving environment where our youngest children begin experiencing God’s love through care, prayer, worship music, and simple Bible truths. Even at the earliest ages, we believe seeds of faith are being planted.
Pre-School
Through engaging Bible stories, worship, hands-on activities, and prayer, preschoolers begin learning foundational truths about who God is and how much He loves them. We help them start building deep roots in God’s Word in ways they can understand and enjoy.
Elementary
Elementary students dive deeper into Scripture, learning how the Bible fits together and how to apply God’s truth to everyday life. We equip them to stand on the Word, grow in confidence, and live out their faith boldly at home, school, and beyond.

Our Curriculum
At Halstead Life Church, we are committed to raising disciples who are Rooted in God’s Word and prepared to stand firm in a shifting world.
That’s why we utilize Bible Engagement Project as our primary Kids Ministry curriculum.
Bible Engagement Project exists to help churches make disciples by equipping families and ministries with Bible-centered resources that transform lives and cultivate meaningful engagement with Scripture.
We believe the Bible is God’s true and inspired Word — and that every book ultimately points us to Jesus. God’s Word shapes what we think, say, and do. When children learn to love Scripture early, their roots grow deep.
Bible Engagement Project helps us:
- Teach the full story of Scripture clearly and consistently
- Show how every lesson connects to Jesus
- Engage kids in meaningful, age-appropriate Bible learning
- Equip families to continue discipleship at home
